Fandral's Flamescythe, once collected, will unlock flame cat.Glyph of Stars, sadly, is still a glyph and not a barbershop customization for some reason.Glyph of the Aquatic Chameleon (random apperance every time).Archdruid's Lunarwing Form is unlocked via You Can't Take the Sky from Me (requires completing Druid class hall campaign).Glyph of the Aerial Chameleon (random flight form appearance every time).Tome of the Wilds: Mount Form unlocks "mount form" - this just allows you to retain the mountable stag form even when you have chosen cheetah as your travel form, or so you can use it in a flying area.Glyph of the Swift Chameleon (random ground travel form appearance every time).Would you agree with an MT trading away 3% solid undiminished avoidance for a personal dps gain of ~183? That is precisely what glyphing IS amounts to.īut if the aim of the moonkin player is not to increase the success rate of his raid but rather to play the mini-game of "meter smashing" then I suppose he's right to glyph IS.Ĭomment by powermonkey500No longer a glyph, but an item that teaches a new account-wide appearance available at the barbershop. The reality is that MT's taking on seriously hard-hitting bosses (Festergut springs to mind) increase their survivability by all possible means. If we glyph IS on the assumption that the MT "doesn't need" 3% extra avoidance, we might as well follow the same logic and have tanks gear and spec for increased dps. The buff is also unique for all practical purposes - the only other source is hunters' Scorpid Sting, which would come at a much greater dps cost as it replaces Serpent Sting.Īt the moment I write this post I'm at work so I don't have access to Rawr or in-game testing etc I'll go out on a limb and do the math below to figure out how much dps the glyph adds.Īssuming 4000 spellpower to be optimistic Disregarding that entirely, it's still 3% avoidance outside of DR which is solid. I say "quality" because chance-to-be-missed is the best possible avoidance given that it works regardless of the tank's facing or being stunned, feared etc. Unglyphed, IS adds 3% of quality avoidance outside of DR.
